Hassan Mtenje also know as Luvera Marcus was born on the 15th of June 1983 in the capital city of Malawi Lilongwe.
Luvera Marcus is the first born in the family of six children.
Had the love for music ever since birth bt talent emerged at the age of 11 yrs old.
As young as 8 years he was able to memorise song lyrics that played on radio 1.the only radio station at the time.
Hassan Mtenje "Luvera Marcus" went to Kafulu primary school, biwi primary school and sos herman gmeiner schools.
The infuence in music kept to grow well, When Hassan was in school he would use every free period as a chance to do some music, especially when the teacher is out of the class or during break time. He aslo came across many friends who had the love for music as well.
They Later formed a band in the ghetto where they were based "area 22". The band name was fire house. As a they recorded few songs and Luvera Marcus used to record some tracks on his own aswell.
Luvera Marcus got the inspiration from his uncle and his friends who use to play guitars while still young.
Had the first opportunity to step into a studio when he was asked by one of the music icons in the city, The late Sir Khuma Phiri.
He organise that Marcus would feature one of his artist of that time.
And since the day "Luvera Marcus" stepped into a recording studiobecome become his favourite place to be.
